Purpose and data access
Maxwell Jarvis AI is operated as a personal application by its Google account owner. Its backup component uses the Google Drive API to create, read and update encrypted assistant memory archives and to check their integrity and sharing permissions. It requests the limited drive.file permission, covering files created or specifically opened with this application, rather than general access to the owner's entire Drive.
A separate, previously configured assistant feature can read or edit Google Sheets explicitly selected by the owner under a separate Sheets authorization. That authorization is not needed or requested by the background Drive backup component.
Storage and protection
Selected local memory is compressed and encrypted with AES-256-GCM before upload. Encrypted copies are stored in the owner's private Google Drive folders. The encryption key and the background transfer client's OAuth credentials remain in owner-restricted local storage and are not published on this website. Authorized Google API access is used only to perform the owner's requested functions.
Use and sharing
The backup component does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or send it to an AI model for copying. It does not publish the archives or grant third parties access. Google Drive stores the encrypted archives as the chosen storage provider; its own account and service policies apply.
Maxwell Jarvis AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When the owner asks the assistant to analyze selected content, other assistant features may process that content with the owner-configured AI provider. This is separate from the background backup program and is governed by the owner's configuration and the provider's applicable policies. The backup component itself makes no AI requests.
Retention and control
The owner controls the backup files and their retention in Google Drive. The background backup program preserves existing copies and does not automatically delete them. The owner can stop the background job and revoke the application's authorization from their Google Account connections. Revoking access does not automatically delete existing backups.
Support
For questions, use the user support email displayed on this application's Google authorization screen. There is no public account registration on this site.
